Chiropractors

My back hurts. It's bothered me since high school, but it's been getting worse lately. I think I may see a chiropractor. I'm still not 100% convinced that it's a good idea.

Also, I'm not too big on the idea of having to interview a "medical" practitioner to find out if he or she is a quack or not. I like people working on my body to be safely in the "not quack" camp.

Anyone out there (of the 3 people that actually read this blog) want to give me some tips on picking a chiropractor or have a specific one you can recommend in or near Staten Island, NY?

Have you thought about going to a PT? Now this is kinda biased because my sister and brother-in-law are PT's, but too far for you to travel too. But My sister has hated Chiro's since she started PT because she claims they do to cure they just relieve for the time being. As she puts it:

A Chiro is trying to get a patient that comes back all the time, while a PT tries to get the patient helathy so they never see them again.

*I have never been to a Chiro, but have been to plenty of PT's.

Andrew,

I used the guy up the hill from us. He's on the corner of Tomkins and Hope Ave. Try him. Did wonders to my back.
