Solution to Iran Problem

This occured to me yesterday... Why don't we just tell Greenpeace that Iran is building civil nuclear reactors for needed electric power? I expect they'll find all the sites and have them bombed off the face of the earth within 2 days.

Brain Waves and Security

My friend Brian directed my attention to an article about the possibility of using your brain waves as a biometric security device for accessing, e.g., an ATM machine. As a security professional, I was immediately concerned about the possible development of some kind of "remote brain wave reader" that someone can use to steal your brain wave patterns so they can be later played back to access your assets and information.

Not to worry, pointed out Brian, because tin foil hat technology has been around for years. As everyone knows, aliens, in conjunction with the CIA, have been monitoring everyone's brain activity for decades (and for far more nefarious purposes than accessing your bank account). You can buy some spiffy models on the Internet right here.

What's interesting is that they have a bowler a.k.a. derby model available. I've been looking for one of these (non-tin foil style) for several months now. Maybe I'll just go with the tin foil version and get both the fashion and brain wave protection benefits.

A Friend of Jeff Babicz...

...is a friend of mine.

Well, in any case, I recently bought a sweet new acoustic guitar. Drop me a line if you want to hear me go on about it. In order to get a free t-shirt, and because I sincerely mean everything I said, I sent the manufacturer a photo of me with my new Babicz. You can see it here:

PC Madness

Sigh... Sorry to get semi-political. Here's one about Ben & Jerry's getting called out by the PC police for their insensitive use of the term "black and tan." It's "shocking" that the most political ice cream company in the world should be apologizing for this. Really.

But tell me... do those who are offended by this name object to every bar in the English-speaking world acknowledging a black and tan as a stout and ale beer mixture? Perhaps they should ask all the bars to apologize too.

Paging Doctor Hands

Here's a guy who probably started by wearing his F.B.I. - Female Body Inspector shirt and ended up taking it a little too seriously:

But really, how dumb is a woman to voluntarily submit to a door to door breast examination?
