Drinking Problem

I'm not sure this guy's problem was the drinking as much as his inability to clean up the mess:

Geek Fun

Unboxing new tech toys is always a special moment. If you are a geek you will get it. If not, you won't. Thanks to Ron Poz for finding this one.

Appropriately, this was the first website I went to after unboxing and replacing a failed power supply in my desktop PC. And, yes, as dull as a power supply is, I was VERY excited to unbox it.

Kids Today...

I was just at my neighbor's house and saw her daughters watching home movies of themselves as toddlers. It occurred to me that kids born since the 1990's will be able to see what they were like as babies in full detail.

Sure, our parents (we children of the 70's) had Polaroids, regular film camera, and even Super 8 or similar silent movies. Still, we need to use our imaginations to approximate our understanding of ourselves as babies. Now everyone has digital camcorders. And boy do parents use them. Jessica will be able to watch hour upon hour of herself at every stage of development.

What any of this means, I have no idea. It's just a strange concept for me. Maybe I'm getting old and starting to feel the generation gap that exists between me and today's children. I guess becoming a parent will do that you.
